Need Parts?

While playgrounds are constructed with durable materials designed for years of use, occasional replacement of playground parts may be necessary. To stay ahead of wear and tear, it is essential to conduct regular cleaning and inspections as recommended in your playground maintenance guide. Adhering to the specified inspection frequency outlined in the guide is crucial for identifying any components that require attention.

For Landscape Structures' equipment, should routine inspections or the suggested maintenance schedule reveal a need for repair or replacement, promptly reach out to us for replacements. Part numbers and descriptions are conveniently located on the back of the installation instruction sheets provided during the initial purchase.

Moreover, when it comes to freestanding playground equipment, we can efficiently replace the structure. However, for parts interconnected with the playground, it is imperative to obtain replacements directly from the original manufacturer to ensure optimal fit and secure connections.

Additionally, it is advisable to check your warranty program to ascertain whether the replacement parts are still covered. Our PlayBooster®, PlayShaper®, and PlaySense® playstructures boast industry-leading 100-year limited warranties, offering comprehensive coverage. Details and terms of these warranties can be found in the informational binder provided at the time of purchase.

Don't Want to Replace Your Equipment - Have You Considered a Retrofit?

If your Landscape Structures' play structure needs attention but a complete replacement isn't viable, consider strategic upgrades. We maintain standardized posts, decks, attachments, and hardware for revitalization to meet contemporary codes and safety standards.

Consider three retrofit options tailored to your needs:

  1. Basic Retrofit: Ensure compliance with safety standards, replace damaged elements, and introduce new components and vibrant colors.
  2. Inclusive Retrofit: Integrate features for diverse abilities, incorporating sensory-rich components for a more inclusive play experience.
  3. Destination Retrofit: Inject new life with standout components like towers, unique climbers, or freestanding play pieces to enhance overall appeal.

A Retrofit Success: Rosemeade Park

Rosemeade Park and Recreation Center, established on April 18, 1982, underwent significant transformation over the years. In 2004, the City of Carrollton, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Carrollton/Farmers Branch, embarked on a mission to enhance the 28-acre park by introducing a playground.

Initially featuring a sole PlayBooster® play structure play structure tailored for children aged 5-12, alongside a single CoolToppers®, the playground evolved remarkably. In 2019, expansions ensued, catering to younger children aged 2-5 with additions like the Smart Play® Loft. Moreover, new freestanding structures like the We-Go-Round®Rhapsody® Outdoor Musical Instruments, and Friendship® Swing were integrated. Most notably, accessibility was prioritized, ensuring inclusion for children of all abilities.

Through the integration of wheelchair-accessible ramps and the introduction of new surfacing options, the park successfully united children aged 5 to 12 in the joys of play. Now, children of diverse abilities can engage with interactive play panels, utilize chinning/pull-up bars at varying heights, and enjoy communal spaces for leisurely gatherings.
