Gilbert Garza Park: San Antonio, TX

Overview:

Gilbert Garza Park, a 21.5 acre park at 1450 Mira Vista, was originally called Mira Vista for the street. Created in 1972, the park was soon re-named for Mayor Pro Tem Gilbert Garza, who died later that year. A fully shaded playstructure provides a spectacular play space for families to relax in the HOT Texas summers. Additionally, the park includes a Gazebo for a place to eat or hang out. The playground includes freestanding playground equipment and a PlayBooster® mainstructure. Freestanding play equipment like the Critter Canyon climber, Tic-Tac-Toe Panel, Single slide, and a Lava Run Slide will be enjoyed by kids age 2-5 years old for many years to come.
