Welcome to Whirlix Design's 2022 Play Tour page! We're glad you will be joining us! On our Play Tours, we will highlight design elements like inclusive play, age-appropriate design, and safety requirements, as well as, the play value and long-lasting quality of Landscape Structures' products.
The tour will include a provided lunch and an accredited CEU presentation on Inclusive Play Design. Earn a CEU credit and have some fun along the way. We look forward to seeing you on the tour!

Built in 2014, the Victoria Park playground is an awesome custom playspace , which includes components from both our Evos® and PlayBooster® play systems. This playspace is castle themed, requiring GFRC and custom paneling to achieve the medieval look needed to bring this space to life. The design incorporated some exciting components such as a O-Zone® climber, Swiggle Stix®, E-Pod® step, and a Wobble Pod®. This playground is the perfect play experience for children ages 5 to 12! J.A. Carr park playground offers no prescribed entry points or exits on the Evos® to flex kids’ mental and physical muscles while delivering age-appropriate challenge and fun to 5- to 12-year-olds! This playscape also offers inclusive play components like the OmniSpin® surface mount spinner and the assisted ZipKrooz® to provide kids of all abilities the opportunity to play. The Marti Van Ravenswaay Park playground has been designed in honor of a woman who served with the City of Arlington. She served as a Member of the Board for Arlington Parks and Recreation, as well as, the Tarrant County Commissioner. The development team took care to design a elegant and eye-catching space with multiple climbing opportunities. The GeoPlex® climbing panels include a variety of hand and foot holds to encourage strategic planning. Helix Net® climber is a twisty net climber that appeals to all ages. The Frank Kent's Dream Park playground is Fort Worth's coolest destination playground. People from all over Texas come to visit and experience the wonders of this play design. This 57,000 square foot playground features unique freestanding play components, and custom designed PlayBooster®, Weevos®, and Evos® play equipment. Dreams come to life with a massive dream house main structure, hot air balloon play structure and custom tree house. Lone Star Park playground is a true testament to the high-quality of the Landscape Structures® play equipment. This playground was installed in September of 2013 and still looks like new! Northtown MUD Park playground displays some of Landscape Structures® most popular play systems, such as Evos® and Weevos® playsystems. The Weevos® playsystem is designed to meet the unique physical, cognitive, sensory/motor, emotional/social and language needs of 2- to 5-year-olds. Gilbert Garza Park, a 21.5 acre park at 1450 Mira Vista, was originally called Mira Vista for the street. Created in 1972, the park was soon re-named for Mayor Pro Tem Gilbert Garza, who died later that year. This fully shaded playground is a spectacular play space for families to relax in the HOT Texas summers. The park also includes a Gazebo for a place to eat or hang out.
